At the 37th death anniversary event of Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur in Sitamarhi, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav said that those who are abusing RJD chief Lalu Yadav today will give him the Bharat Ratna in the future, just like it was given to Jananayak Karpoori Thakur.
Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav made a big prediction by giving the example of Jananayak Karpoori Thakur in Sitamarhi. He said that those who are abusing Lalu Yadav today will be the ones to give him the Bharat Ratna in the future, just like it was given to Karpoori Thakur. Tejashwi made this statement while addressing a public gathering at the 37th death anniversary event of former Bihar Chief Minister and Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur in Sonbarsha, Sitamarhi.
Tejashwi Yadav said, “Just like those who used to abuse Karpoori Thakur earlier, they are the same people who gave him the Bharat Ratna. Similarly, those who are criticizing Lalu Yadav today will be the ones to give him the highest national honor in the future.” He further said, “We fought for the poor, and Lalu ji made the poor sit on a cot and gave them the power of their voice. Today, any poor person can fight for their rights. In the past, people were discriminated against – they weren’t allowed to enter temples, draw water from wells, wear new clothes, or ride horses on their wedding day. A lot of such discrimination took place, and the older generation knows about it.”
Tejashwi called on the people, saying, “If you support us, we will work towards freeing you from unemployment, poverty, and migration. When Lalu ji got the opportunity, he brought about social change and freed the upcoming generations from oppression. If you give me a chance, I will free you from unemployment, poverty, and migration through economic justice.”
