Tejashwi Sarkar Record: A poster in Bihar’s political corridors has become a topic of discussion. The poster shows Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav riding a horse, while Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is depicted sitting on a tortoise. The poster claims that Tejashwi’s government will come to power in the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly elections. This poster has been put up by a supporter of RJD near Rabri’s residence in Patna, not far from Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s residence.
The poster reads that the development speed in Bihar over the past 20 years has been as slow as a tortoise, but now Tejashwi’s government will bring in rapid development, promising that in 2025, the state will experience development at full speed.
Bihar will have its Legislative Assembly elections by the end of this year, and the main opposition party, RJD, is trying to leverage its 17 months in power. In 2022, JD(U) parted ways with the BJP and formed a grand alliance government with RJD. However, in January 2024, Nitish Kumar returned to the NDA.
RJD leaders claim that during the grand alliance government, a significant number of youth were provided with jobs, and other development initiatives were undertaken.
