Prashant Kishor on Bihar: Cast and Community Divide Bihar; Prashant Kishor Targets Modi, Nitish, and Lalu

Jan Suraj Leader Prashant Kishor stated that Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar are dividing votes along caste lines, while Narendra Modi is enticing voters with promises of 5 kilograms of grains. The people of Bihar should vote keeping their children’s future in mind.

Prashant Kishor has launched an attack on Lalu Yadav, Nitish Kumar, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that all three have, together, entangled the people of Bihar in caste and community divisions. As part of the Jan Suraj Udgosh Yatra, Prashant Kishor, the leader of the party, visited Saran on a one-day tour. He was welcomed by a large number of people. PK also addressed a public meeting in Madhoura.

Prashant Kishor targeted Bihar’s current political situation and stated that Lalu and Nitish have kept the public entangled in caste divisions for the past 35 years, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi is distributing five kilograms of grains to garner votes. He added that as long as the people of Bihar do not focus on their real issues—education and employment—things will not improve.

He urged the people to vote with the consideration of securing their children’s future. Targeting PM Modi, PK said, “You voted for Modi after hearing the story of Gujarat’s development, but now your children are working as laborers in Gujarat while development continues there.”

Prashant Kishor also criticized Narendra Modi, saying that the people of Bihar voted for Modi after hearing the tale of Gujarat’s development, but as a result, their children are now working as laborers in Gujarat. He pointed out that the people voted for those who have seen progress, but they never thought about the future of their own children. If they didn’t think about it, how would their own future improve?

PK also mentioned the sugar mill in Madhoura, which has been closed for years, but the local legislator continues to win elections because people vote based on caste. He appealed to the public to think about their children’s future before casting their votes.
