Delhi Exit Poll 2025: Exit Polls have delivered a significant blow to the ruling Aam Aadmi Part

Delhi Exit Poll 2025: After voting for the Delhi Assembly elections concluded, the exit polls have delivered a significant blow to the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Most exit polls predict that after a gap of 26 years, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to form the government in Delhi. There are 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly, with a majority requiring 36 seats. Although the real results will be announced on February 8, trends can still be observed beforehand.

According to the ‘Matrix’ survey, the BJP is expected to win 35-39 seats and form the government. This agency predicts that AAP will win 32-37 seats, while Congress is expected to win 0-2 seats. In the ‘P-Mark’ exit poll, the BJP is projected to win 39-49 seats, forming a majority government. This survey estimates AAP to win 21-31 seats, and Congress to win 0-1 seat.

The ‘People’s Insight’ survey suggests that BJP may win 40-44 seats, AAP could secure 25-29 seats, and Congress might get 0-2 seats. According to the ‘People’s Plus’ exit poll, the BJP is likely to secure a landslide victory with 51-60 seats, leaving AAP with just 10-19 seats. This survey predicts that Congress may once again fail to win any seats in the Delhi Assembly for the third consecutive election.

The ‘Poll Diary’ survey estimates the BJP will win 42-50 seats, while AAP may get 18-25 seats, pushing them out of power. In this survey, Congress is projected to win 0-2 seats.

Election analyst Yashwant Deshmukh, participating in a show on Aaj Tak, pointed out that there has been a clear societal divide in Delhi in this election. He mentioned that, generally, men appear to support the BJP, while women seem to favor the AAP.

Most exit polls following the Delhi Assembly elections suggest that after more than 26 years, the BJP is poised to return to power in the national capital. However, two surveys indicate that AAP might still retain its power.

Voting for all 70 Delhi Assembly seats concluded on Wednesday, and the counting will take place on February 8. After the elections, most exit poll agencies have predicted a win for the BJP and a loss for AAP. Many surveys also suggest that it may be difficult for Congress to open its account in this election.
