Mumbai: The Ramoji Group’s stall emerged as a major attraction at the WAVES Summit 2025, held at the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai. The summit, which runs from May 1 to May 4, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday and features participation from renowned personalities across sectors and countries.
Among the many exhibits at the event showcasing India’s art, culture, music, technology, and cuisine, Ramoji Group’s centrally located stall stood out prominently. Visitors flocked to the stall to learn about the legacy and achievements of Ramoji Film City, especially its contributions to media and cinema over the past three decades.
Cherukuri Kiran, Chairman and Managing Director of the Ramoji Group, was present at the stall, personally interacting with dignitaries and guests. He was joined by ETV Network CEO K. Bapineedu.
The Ramoji Group stall also offered insights into the operations of ETV’s Telugu news channels, including ETV 1, ETV 2, ETV Plus, and ETV Life. It highlighted how the group’s news and entertainment platforms function across multiple languages and digital formats, particularly in today’s age of social media and AI integration.
Another highlight was an exhibition of Ramoji Film City’s cinematic legacy, where more than 3,500 films have been shot—ranging from Baahubali, Pushpa, RRR, Suryavanshi, to Kalki. The stall also featured information about other Ramoji Group ventures, including ETV Bharat, ETV Bal Bharat, Usha Kiran Movies, and the Eenadu newspaper and FM channels.
Throughout the summit, organizations from across India are showcasing their work in technology, performing arts, media, and advertising, offering visitors a rich experience of the country’s vibrant diversity and innovation.
