Tejashwi Yadav stated that Lalu Yadav never compromised on his principles, but there is no guarantee when Nitish Kumar might flip.
On Wednesday, during the budget session in the Bihar Legislative Council, there was a sharp exchange between Rabri Devi and Nitish Kumar. Following this, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav made a strong statement about Bihar’s Chief Minister. Comparing Nitish Kumar to Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi said there is no guarantee when Nitish Kumar might flip and join the BJP.
Tejashwi also criticized Nitish Kumar for compromising on his principles and stated that Lalu Yadav never did so. He said that Lalu Yadav lost power but remained firm in his stance, whereas Nitish Kumar’s position is uncertain, and no one can guarantee when he might switch sides. Tejashwi further suggested that Nitish Kumar should resign from the Chief Minister’s post due to his weakened position.
Tejashwi also accused Nitish Kumar of repeatedly disrespecting women and stated that Bihar is being led by someone who is in an “unconscious state.” He claimed that Nitish Kumar’s policy is centered on “securing the chair” rather than addressing the issues of the state.
Tejashwi attacked Nitish Kumar, saying that he changes laws to save criminals. He also criticized the police for being unable to gather evidence against criminals, allowing them to go free. He pointed out that even after 20 years in power, Nitish Kumar, who holds the Home Ministry, has failed to curb crime, with criminals operating freely in the state.
