वह पहले जर्मनी से नीदरलैंड्स की तरफ जाता है। नीदरलैंड्स की ओर से चलते हुए उसे साफ-सुथरी साइकिल लेन, हरे-भरे खेत और शांत यूरोपीय गांव दिखाई देते हैं। कुछ किलोमीटर चलने के बाद अचानक एक साइनबोर्ड आता है—यह संकेत देता है कि वह थ्री-कंट्री पॉइंट के बेहद करीब है।
वह आगे बढ़ता है और कुछ ही मिनटों में उस जगह पहुंच जाता है जहाँ खड़े होकर वह एक ही समय में—
एक कदम बेल्जियम में, दूसरा नीदरलैंड्स में और शरीर जर्मनी की तरफ— महसूस कर सकता है कि कैसे तीन देश एक ही स्पॉट पर जुड़ते हैं।
कुछ समय वहां बिताने के बाद वह वापस लौटने का फैसला करता है। लेकिन इस बार वह नीदरलैंड्स के अंदर से होते हुए जर्मनी वापस जाता है—और उसकी यह सर्कुलर जर्नी पूरी हो जाती है।

A Youth’s Unique Journey Across Three Countries
Three Country Point Journey: A young man living in Germany has always been fascinated by Europe’s open borders and its unique geography. One day, he learns about a special place where three countries meet at a single point — Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. This spot is known as the “Three-Country Point”, where you can step from one country to another within seconds.
Excited by the idea, he decides to visit this remarkable place. His journey begins in Germany — and interestingly, it will also end in Germany, but only after passing through another country on the way.
He starts from Germany and walks towards the Netherlands. As he enters Dutch territory, he sees clean cycling lanes, peaceful villages and green landscapes. After walking for some time, a signboard appears, indicating that he is close to the Three-Country Point.
A few minutes later, he reaches the exact spot where the borders of Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands meet. Standing there, he feels amazed —
one step in Belgium, another in the Netherlands, and his body still facing Germany.
Three countries together, without walls or checkpoints.
After spending some time at the point, he decides to return. But instead of going back the same way, he walks deeper through the Netherlands and re-enters Germany from the Dutch side.
The journey begins in Germany… and ends again in Germany — but through the Netherlands.
This short yet memorable trip teaches him that borders may exist on maps, but in real life, cultures, people, and paths blend seamlessly in Europe.
